Responding to David Noon from 1998-12-02 concerning OS/2 C++ Programming?,
on Os2prog

Hi David:

DN> Funny looking address. It doesn't have a com, gov, edu or org ahead of the
DN> .de suffix. Still, if I need some support on EMX I'll give it a try.

Top level Internet domains ideally should all have a
country code, which 'de' is for Deutschland. The
Americans are the only ones with top level 'gov',
'mil', 'org', 'edu', and 'com', although now Internic
has commercialised 'com', so it is available world
wide, for a fee. I think the USA should use 'us', but
I have never seen it.
