Hi Denis,
DM> DD>> I am unsure if I qualified for GI bill bennies or not. As my
DM> service Ruth! What is ^^?
RH> Don't know, and they've long ago expired--unless maybe you can prove you
RH> did qualify but never used them.
The GI Bill was established during World War II as a means for service
men and women to have money for college (or trade school) after serving
in the war. It has continued to be a part of military benefits; my
husband served 26 years in the US Army and used the GI Bill to pay for a
Master's of Divinity degree.
DM> I have university education.
DM> 2All: And You?
I have a Batchelor of Arts in Sociology with Psychology and Art minors.
I also have a Diploma in Women's Studies from the adjunct program at the
seminary my husband graduated from.
When we were living in Arizona, a friend told my husband about Fido Net
and the Cooking Echo. It has helped to expand our culinary horizons, in
addition to the moving around we did while he was in the Army. It was
here we learned about durians, among other things, and got to taste one
at an Echo picnic. It's not something I would eat every day but I can
say that I've tried it.

Catch you later,
Ruth
