Title: Jagermeister Old Fashioned
Categories: alcohol, beverages
Servings: 1
1 oz Jagermeister
1 oz rye whiskey
1 barspoon maple syrup
1 ds Dale DeGroff's pimento
bitters
Garnish: orange twist
Willy Shine, the "brandmeister" for Mast-Jagermeister U.S., likes to
point out that Jagermeister is basically a German amaro with a great
deal of heritage behind it. "Jagermeister is a very versatile
liquid to work within the realm of cocktails," he says.
Shine believes the two base spirits in this riff on an Old Fashioned
make a perfect match. "Jagermeister and rye whiskey pair together
harmoniously, so it was only natural to create a Jagermeister
version" of the classic whiskey cocktail, he says. "I love the spicy
notes in this cocktail, as well as the layers of flavor upon every
sip."
Add all ingredients into a chilled Old Fashioned glass with ice and
stir until well-chilled.
Express the oils from an orange twist over the glass and drop into
the glass.

MMMMM-------------------------------------------------
I didn't have the fancy bitters and I changed the ratio to 2 oz
whisky and 1/2 oz Jag.
Cheers
