Around here there are bylaws that restrict their use to winter between
early November and late April.

I hadn't thought of them being useful in the summer for shade. They are
mostly clear or white here but I've seen them blue and also silver ones.
Wouldn't a silver covering be great for reflecting heat away?

Here most people buy those shelters but there are rentals too. I've seen
more uses other than driveways, for example a long walkway or an
entrance, etc. I guess anything to keep from shoveling!

BTW thanks for sending your warm air our way as we've been having a
beautiful 30'C summer. That's metric for 86'F. Speaking of which I've
just heard the 9mm has been found the favorite handgun of US school age
kids. The good news is at least they are learning their metric system!
