No, you misunderstand.  It's S9=6 and S10=7 here, which gives a carrier
loss to hangup delay of 100mS (7-6=1 :-)), and the modem has never once
dropped carrier due to a line glitch.  It sure hangs up pretty bloody
quickly though.  :)

Later... I started having second thoughts about the above, so looked it up
in the Courier manual, but it mentions nothing about the differential
value.  I'm pretty sure I have it right, but will gladly stand corrected if
your NetComm's manual suggests otherwise.
