That's what _you_ think. There are still a lot of differences between all
these countries. For example people from the last batch of countries which
joined still need a work-permit here.
 
Also there is no central government and a phonecall to another country
still is expensive.

Several regions could still merge ... Ireland with its 2 nodes could become
a net of R25 (England), the Scandinavian countries share enough amongst
themselves to perhaps create a single region, the Baltic states ... there
is opportunity but the movement needs to come from the individuals
themselves in order for it to work. Forced mergers will fail.
