  There's the russian based GLONASS, but dollar for dollar, it ends up being 
more expensive to use (recievers cost more).

  Europe (a collection of countries in europe) is working on Gallileo, but I

standards since the start, and are still arguing over exactly which countries 
are part of the consortium or not.

  That's nothing to do with GPS, that's just his idiocy.  No-one said virus
