... Whilst Paul waffled on to Dieter...

 Hello Paul,

PE> Dieter, you are sending messages to me in AUST_AVTECH that
PE> appear to be coming from 3:711/934 instead of 3:711/934.8.

 Whoops.

PE> I don't know how you manage to do this, presumably you are

 Neither do I ....

PE> using an old PKT header (poll packet, etc) that didn't have
PE> your point number in it. I don't know how long this has
PE> been going on for, and I think a bug in Squish allows these
PE> messages to get through at random times. When Tobruk goes
PE> in on Saturday afternoon, these messages will not be
PE> processed at all (I think I'll get a warning though).

I know I have sent two messages to you recently, one was
regarding your query about ulcers, and the other about bad
 language.

PE> Although I will be checking the operation of Tobruk on every
PE> received packet on Saturday, I'd suggest everyone should keep
PE> their own backups of outgoing mail for the interim period.

How did this message come through ? I haven't changed anything
that I'm aware of, other than a minor problem with corrupted REP
 packets :-)

I've added an archive test to TPOINT to track any possible
 problems.

 Dieter
