    I've never tried it so I can't speak to it's effectiveness, but one 
method I've heard of suggests using one of those hose end sprayers with a 
very dilute solution of dish soap in it.  Apparantly, if the soap is thined 
out enough, it won't do any harm to your lawn, but will to the bugs.
