Let's not forget that Tony Levier was highly involved in the ultimate
acceptance of the P-38 in the Pacific theater. Early on, many pilots were
afraid of the aircraft for its supposedly wicked single engine handling.
Author Martin Caiden had a lot of things to say about Mr. Levier.... all of
it good.
From all accounts, he was one hell of a pilot.
