 Lie.

 Hulett says you are wrong.

Lots of echos have slow times, esp in summer. Almost everything
in this echo is flame. If a few of us left this echo would die
 practically overnight.

No one fitting the description you gave.

 How it used to be.

Unless you have conducted a survey you have no idea what lawyers
are athiests, and which are Christians or Jews or Muslims, etc.

LL> Gosh, I had always thought his dad did it for him...

Well, he doesn't mind working through others. But it was a large
 conglomerate.

Ok, I'll give you that one.

Only in the minds of fanatics.

Since it was not a matter of doctrine he can say what he wants
publically. However, the Pope decided in favor of seperation of
 church and state.

BK>>Does that make the pope an athiest?

LL> Maybe the pope is an atheist in disguise.

Ok, that could be, but it sure is a good disguise.

BK>>Or could it just be he believes in seperation of church and state
BK>>also.

LL> If the pope believed in separation of church and state he

LL> Vatican City is a political state, with real territory, the
LL> pope being the head of that state.

It is a limited territory solely dedicated to the functions of
the church. Just as a monastary requires land, and the Abbot is
in control to that land. Doesn't mean a whole lot, now does it?

BK>>Every country I can think of where church and state are closely
BK>>intertwined the unofficial churches are oppressed.

LL> There are no unofficial churches that are oppressed in
 LL> Vatican City.

Vatican city is the property of the Catholic Church. It's their
headquaters, just like the local Cathedral of Praise is the
headquaters for the Rev. Snow. (or Snow Job as I prefer)

 No, that is Jesus's instruction.
