some do my panasonic TV is falling apart and it'sles than 10 years old,
by my old national portable black&white set with the rotory tuner still
seems solid. it boasts "IC" on the front so it's atleast 20 years old.

Tupperware(tm) seems to last forever (out of the sun).

sunlight definately effects some plastics they go powdery on the surface
and crumble... plastic seems to last better in a tin shed or attic or
inside a car where it can ge very hot than in the sun.
