Nah, the fuser roller is used to melt the toner it's a "non-stick"
coated roller with a heater up the inside.

"non-stick" is teflon or silicone etc
the heater may be a halogen lamp

As mark says there'll be a cleaner (probably felt coated) that makes sure
that no toner sticks to the fuser and it has to be changed regularly,
failure to change the fuser cleaner can damage the fuser roller which will
make a mess of the printouts.
