MvdV> Not that I know of. AFAIK there is a freware version of 1.60
 MvdV> too.

MvdV> You are missing out on the auto-add feature. You can download
 MvdV> it at www.fmail.nl.eu.org

autoadd? i don't need it on the system that i'm running it on... there's
only a mailer (argus), tosser (fmail) and editor (TimED)... the tosser and
editor are working with JAM files and the editor gets its list by reading
the AREAS.BBS file that fmail creates... any new areas are noted by their
messages being in the badmail area and a quick execution of the fmail setup
program will automatically toss me into the configuration section to add
the new areas to the config with most all values already filled out and
generally only needing the directory and base JAM filename to be filled
in... on exit, the scripts run the tosser with the -tossbad (or whatever)
parameter which moves the messages from the badmail area to their proper
and newly created area and then the editor is fired up for normal
reading... heck, it took longer and more lines to write the above than what
the entire script contains ;)

MvdV> So the editor is at fault...

in at least that case, yes...

 MvdV> Yep.

MvdV> I have difficulty believing that. The author was still aorund
MvdV> and active when 1.60 came out. I am sure it would have been
MvdV> noticed by someone and fixed by the author.

stranger things have been seen and known to happen...

 MvdV> Time to dump it.

yup... sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
