It was an Internationl Mountain Bike affair that lasted through
4 days. There were the Mens races and the Womens races. The
courses were laid out near Steamboat Springs and the Start
Finish Line was downtown. The course included climbing and
downhill runs. A very nice affair and the crowds were not
allowed to crowd out on thew course and interfere with the
racers like they did in the Tour De France. If I had been
those riders, I would have found the way to carry a
Billy Club to knock some sense into those idiots that
were crowing them off the course.
