Ok so you can't read, look at my previous posts, notice the word
"uninstall" in
regard to defender not turned off but uninstalled as in I don't want any patch
or service pack re-enabling the damn thing and I don't want to run into
incompatibilities because some piece of it (like the damn service) doesn't shut
off when you turn it off and notice the word "detailed" in regard
to services
as in a 10 word sentence is hardly detailed.

I no longer trust windows to honor my commands. Just because I set something to
off doesn't mean it will stay that way.

Are you trying to show that you are an idiot. It's it obvious enough.
Maybe you should go back and read what I wrote to you about how to turn off
Windows Defender instead of ignoring this and making a mess as you flail
randomly.

To see all services and their descriptions use the services management
console. How could you possibly not know of this?

I disabled the service for defender, then I got a "service failed to
start"
error when rebooting so I had to track that down (how can a service "fail
to
start" when it's set to disabled?).

I'll get there but this stuff really should be far more modular and
  removable.

Is there a list of services with detailed descriptions somewhere?

  Geo.
