-> I just read a chart for VHF propagation. There's a dotted line labeled -> "Line of sight" at about 70-80 miles. It shows reception of VHF at over -> a 200 mile limit however I suspect that would be mostly for FM radio. -> High UHF is mostly limited to "line of sight" unless there is ducting. -> As for the flat land, the "line of sight" distance increases a lot if -> the antenna site is elevated such as when erected on a mountain top.
