Well all I know is that it is designed by Gordon Letwin, but wasn't
aware that he worked for MS. If he did, than I must admit that HPFS is
probably THE BEST thing ever to come out of that place... or maybe
it's the ONLY good thing?

Hmmm? The specs ARE widely available, AFAIK. I think you can find
them on Pete Norloff's OS/2 BBS or Hobbes, and probably even on some
IBM site, but I rarely dare to tread in that part of the jungle,
especially when I don't have an exact link to follow... ;)
There is also a good description of HPFS in the .INF file which comes
with the Graham Utilities.
