I wish I had a detailed list handy. And I don't understand the "why"
part.
But key things that don't like modified square wave power are laser
printers and photocopiers. Also some portable tool rechargers.
Other tools won't start the inverter unless something else is
already on. My Milwaukee electric drill falls into that category.
Do tell what catalog you are look at, and give us the list!
