I just typed a long reply to Lori on the very subject...I get misty
eyed when I think about, these folks out here are great and it makes me
glad I'm here--despite the blizzards and high water!

I do too, as a trained counselor I'm real sensitive to folk's emotional
well being--the people of the Red River Valley have had to deal with
unimaginable amounts of stress and traumatic events. I guess the
positive note is that there's been little loss of human life, for that
we are thankful. The American Red Cross estimates their Mental Health
professionals will remain in the valley for 6 months to a year to
provide services to flood victims, it's going to be a slow process on
that front.
