WT> On what side of a CD is the music -actually- on? I've heard Label
WT> Side & Unlabeled/Silver Side. I've gotten rid of skips by cleaning the
WT> Label Side, my main CD player needs them label -down- to play, the
WT> CD-Boombox is label -up-! I suppose the same is true for computers,
WT> which go label -up- in my Sony CD-ROM. Could it be "tracking data" on
WT> one side and "music data" on the other? Facts anybody?
The silver side....
It jsut depends where the laser is located on your cd player as to how you
place the cd.
Take a look at your boombox and see if you can see the laser (Not the beam)
but where the beem comes from. If your boombox has a tray and you are unable
to on your boombox try to find a portable CD player and you should be able to
see the lens Mine looks like a liile pice of round blue glass about 5mm in
Diamiter.
Don't dismantle your boombox to see it!!!
... Feel that groove; now make that move!
