Hello Bob, >LL>For whatever reason, the messages I tried to upload never made it >LL>to daylight. Probably due to a flaw in SLMR. Happens every few >LL>hundred packets. Don't know why. Or it could be due to my evil >LL>twin... >BK>I told you before... you *ARE* the evil twin. >LL>If I am my evil twin, how would I know? BK>I'll have to get back to you on that one. Has anybody ever told you that Bob spelled backwards is Bob? But hey. What can I say? It's not my fault my evil twin tempted Eve in the garden. You do realize that Eve spelled backwards is Eve, and that Adam was not really Adam... >LL>BTW, never mix baby food in ground beef to make hamburger patties. >LL>Really stinks up a kitchen. Trust me. I know. Just a friendly >LL>word of advice. Ignore at your own peril. >RN>We make them the old fashioned way -- 80-20 ground beef. I like mine w >RN>chopped onions. Must be from my Crystal days. >BK>I tried the 90-10. Didn't much care for it. >LL>There are a zillion different ways to make hamburger >LL>patties. But I find the best way is to use 100% beef >LL>patties, rather than a mix. When using onions, I find it >LL>best to either top (cooked) patties with raw onions, or top >LL>with sauteed onions. But not mixed in with beef. BK>I agree. I was just telling how someone else said it was done. I BK>do not mix anything with my hamburgers. Additions go on, not in, BK>the hamburgers. Unless one is insistent on making veggie burgers. >LL>La meilleure m‚thode est d'imbiber les oignons d‚shydrat‚s >LL>en jus de choucroute pendant quinze minutes, pour placer >LL>alors sure le gril, ajoutant les pƒt‚s d'hamburger, et le >LL>cuisinier jusqu'… fait. >RN>... 100% humidity doesn't necessarily mean it's raining. >LL>Sa c'‚tait pas hier, non. :) >BK>Being in Louisiana does mean it's raining, doesn't it? >LL>Especially when visited by evil women such as Katrina and >LL>Rita. Which reminds me. Hurricane season has begun. And BK>Glub... >LL>the conditions this year are exactly the same as in 2005. BK>Does that include you fleeing the state? Hurricanes have a tendency to follow me around no matter where I go. And you really do not want me to be anywhere near where you live during hurricane season. Of course, had I done that in 2005 I would have saved New Orleans. Not really sure what would have happened to Cleveland. Or Cincinnati. Or Toledo. Or the state of Ohio. But who cares about Cleveland or Cincinnati or Toledo or Ohio anyway? >LL>Furthermore, Native Americans say that one more U.S. city >LL>will be destroyed by a super storm before the end of the >LL>world. BK>Hmmm... ever occur to you that Katrina was not really a "super BK>storm"? That there may be much worse to come? Some meteorologists suggest that it is possible a hurricane can get so strong that it will only come partially on land, with 3/4 of the storm remaining at sea, and stay there for hundreds of years. Try to picture a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico being so large as to fit perfectly into that body of water, with one quarter of the hurricane being over part of Mexico, as well as the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, having sustained winds in excess of 250 miles per hour, and staying there for centuries. Kind of like the red spot on Jupiter. BK>Just trying to lighten the mood a bit. With global warming it is possible that hurricanes will develop in the Great Lakes and wipe out Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Illinois, etc. >LL>Not only that, but the tribal chiefs are calling >LL>their people home, saying that Katrina was the great sign, >LL>as their prophecies had foretold. BK>Problem with great signs is, they often come true, but not when BK>expected. OTOH, it's usually bad no matter when they come true. Years before the event, Sitting Bull had a vision that the white man would be defeated, "dropping like flies", in the "battle of the greasy grass." Custer found out the hard way who Sitting Bull was talking about. --Lee * SLMR 2.1a * Unable to locate Coffee -- Operator Halted! --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: Collin County Station (1:124/6308) SEEN-BY: 633/267 @PATH: 124/6308 5025 106/1 261/38 123/500 379/1 633/267 |
