Woops. I cliped a little too much when I posted that. It was a Review
form a Stereo Magazine a couple of years ago. I did edit the prices
though the reflect the present cost. The price had droped about $5000
since the review was written. And they now makea unit with a
Remote control. 

-> If we imagine a person paying $12K for a turntable, what stereo
-> system do they hook this up to with what type of speaker system
-> and in what room large enough to not totally distort this sound? 

I immagine the person that would buy a turntable like that would have a
"Listening" room costing about as much as my House(a 1000 Sq Ft Tract
House) would sell for today.

 Actualy the people buying them are the "Bit Wacko" ones. The Builder
and Reviewer are just doing things the "Amercian Way"(MAKING MONEY)
And as PT Barnum said "There is a Sucker Born Every Minute"
