                   Rules of the OS2PROG Conference

The OS2PROG Conference is dedicated to discussion of programming
  under the OS/2 operating system.

The prohibitions against commercialism and advertisements in
echomail conferences apply here with some exceptions. First, we
are likely to be interested in press releases regarding topical
matters where those press releases significantly add to the
information content of the conference. Second, if you or your
company has released a product related to OS/2 programming, a
short description of it here is invited. Such messages should
only be posted ONCE for each new version released, not to exceed
  four times per calendar year.

The participants should recognize that this conference is
circulated internationally, and consider whether they would be
willing to pay international long distance charges to move their
  own messages about.

The participants should conduct themselves in a professional
manner even when disagreeing. Politeness and mutual respect
should be the norm. Participants should readily move direct
exchanges of no further interest to the conference at large to
  Netmail.

Specifically uninvited are hearsay, uninformed opinion and
  zealotry in any form.

Since this is a Fidonet conference, the policies adopted by
Fidonet will govern the technical matters of message format and
  content, and dispute resolution.
