Replying to a message of David Chessler to Darryl Gregorash:

Must have; Corel bought everything Novell had, that I do know.

The question is whether or not there would be any sales to pay for the
support staff. That is probably a big NO. Ergo, no support for the real old
versions.
What bothers me most in all this is that on Corel's web pages, I find
absolutely no mention of an upgrade policy for users of old versions of WP.
Competitive upgrades from Word, etc, yes, but if you used WP and stuck with
it, you seem to be left in the dark.
Maybe if enough WP diehards like myself were to e-mail them enough times,
they would see there is a substantial number of potential customers they are
totally ignoring right now, who should deserve some credit for being faithful
for so long.
Speaking of e-mail addresses, has anyone ever found an e-mail link on Corel's
web pages? All I've ever seen is the complete list of the phone numbers
(which looks surprisingly like the old list of WPCorp's numbers in Orem, Utah
:)
