-> I wonder if you could elaborate on this statement?

Yes, I know the difference between the Intel (80186 in USR) and the Motorola
(reported 68030 in ZyXEL's v.34) cpu's. You said there was a problem with the
USR doing bi-directional transfers. The question is simply, is there a
problem that you are aware of? And if so, what is it? I haven't seen any
mention of this anywhere else.
KT> About USR: give it a try (this is a ZyXEL echo).
Had a 1496E+. Couldn't wait for ZyXEL's v.34. Now have a USR v.e & Sportster.
Will probably upgrade to ZyXELs v.34 if the sysop price is right.
