True enough. However, those of us who differ with you *also* have

In terms of absolute number of resolutions, you are correct.
However, resolutions are defeated every two or three years or,
more often, are either withdrawn or substantially rewritten thru
one mechanism or another before they get to the floor. And before
you protest the resolutions process, you will note that it was
liberalized this year.

Generally true. However, this either means that the majority of
us are sheep -- something I do not see demonstrated either in
these echos or in committee or floor debate -- or the Nominating
Committee is basically in tune with the general political will of
Convention attendees and that convention attendees either due to
indifference or affirmation support the nominees. Incidentally,
at Division level I have seen nominees with the support of
Division leadership get creamed in the final vote.
