Don't forget the advantage of separate grounded cases to keep the
"crosstalk" and interaction to a minimum between units.

Sorry, but I just had to mention that typical DJs are more concerned
with high SPLs than accurate reproduction. I don't remember hearing a
DJ system that was *really* accurate, and most are awful!
