Oh, so you're saying he had sources inside the companies that were
trading the stocks based on inside information?  Well, in case you
didn't know, such insider trading is highly illegal in this country.
If Dorfman is involved in an insider trading ring, he is in much more
serious trouble than I think he is.  He could be facing quite a long
prison term if what you suggest is true.

Yes, I see your point.  If true, he has quite a bit to hide.  So much in 
fact that I suspect he will end up taking the 5th amendment.  I thought
the sources he is currently hiding are just outside stock traders with
self-serving opinions.  But what you're suggesting is corporate insider
trading that is several times more serious.  He can't hide that sort of
criminal conspiracy behind the freedom of the press.

That's a little like saying that nobody considers Ron and Nicole to be
victims anymore.  :-)
 
I will point out that I think (personal opinion here) that Dorfman has
something to hide, which will turn out to be a financial paper trail
that will lead from his confederates to his bank account.  He wouldn't
be causing market panics for free.  There'd be no incentive for someone
to ruin their credibility by predicting crazy things.  Somewhere there
is a payment for services rendered.  I suspect that the government
agency that finally brings him down will be the Internal Revenue
Service.
