 Really interesting, if a bit weird re the specific
 method. From what I've read about how the record
 companies clean up old records for re-release on
 CD, it's quite a bit more involved and usually
 takes multiple processes. And what I read was
 awhile back -- probably more sophisticated these
 days with improved technology.
