This is all good advice, and what we do to rid ourselves of mice
EXCEPT that we do find cheese effective. However, it must be real
cheese, none of that ersatz stuff, the older the better, and you
have to BBQ it for gourmet mice. Seriously. :-) My hubby wedges a
tiny bit of cheese into the bait holder, then holds a lighted match
to it until the cheese melts. Yum. It is much more attractive to
mice with that simple trick. But I prefer peanut butter because
I'm more apt to have it handy, and mice like it equally well.
