| subject: | TCP/IP Sockets |
Hallo Tom, Tom Brown schreef dit aan All: TB> I'm looking at getting into writing some TCP/IP sockets code for OS/2. TB> Could someone recommend a book on this topic. I've done some CPI-C TB> and various other comms stuff. Look at the EDMI electronic publications. EDMI3_8, 3_10 and 4_1 deal with it. You can find them at the Hobbes internet site in the newsletter directory. If you own Warp Connect, do a dir for TOOLKIT on the CD-ROM and you will find the TCP/IP toolkit with some samples. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if sockets are platform independent you can buy a Windows book. Internet programming with Visual C++ comes to my mind. I'm about to start with sockets as soon as my 2e machine runs properly. Toedeloe, Jorgen de Gier --- GEcho 1.00* Origin: Hoi!
