PL>> posted what you quote below your reply using his name implied some sort PL>> of PL>> familiarity. Please, by all means, contact him personaly and solicit what PL>> extra support you can get... I can't speak for him. VD> I didn't understand you - I think that you was consult with they VD> and speak from they. Sorry! No sorry necessary. I did have some discussions with them when they first came into the net here as to the differences in FidoNet in the USA and in Russia... interesting conversations they were. From the things they said I get the ipression they would be in full support of Russia getting a new zone, or moving to one that was dead giving the same result. That is just what I get out of it, but couldn't assume to speak definitivly on their behalf. I do know they are feeding Russian echoes (like I said before) from their echomail source, so I am sure they would be well aware of anything which would arise there. VD> But if re-election to Z2C Malkolm will begin, we can find officers VD> for it. Yes... but as Michiel van der Vlist pointed out, I don't think two former Russian nodes now residing in Z1 would be viewed by the rest of Z2 as unbiased officers of the election. I would have to agree with him on that as there is a good possibility either of them performing that function could cause great controversy and it would turn into a huge mayhem flamefest and all sorts of accusations of foul play would surface... not that any foul play might actually exist... it is just the way things go as proven by past events. BTW... is there currently any active discussion going on in R50 concerning what has been spoken of here, and if so, would it be alright to ask for a brief summary of what's being said?
