I was one of the faithful who got wp6.0 dos as soon as it hit the
shelves. Since I cannot consider myself a "power user," I did not run
into any problems. It ran like a champ on my 486/66 w/8mb of ram.

I can see your point. I just got a new Pentium computer on Friday and
WP 6.1 DOS runs extremely well. I would have upgraded to the Suite with
6.2 in it but the cost is much too high to make it worthwhile. There is
too little useful stuff in the new version to justify paying their
asking price of over $100 for it. Customer service told me, "but you're
getting a suite for the price!" But, I said: "I don't want the suite, I
want ONLY 6.2 DOS and nothing else..." Bad marketing in my opinion:
GIVE THE CUSTOMER WHAT THEY WANT!

I want to see WordPerfect live...
