I can't speak for Tom, but my reader allows me to look over my typos, and I
manage to catch many of them before I hit 'send'.  Last summer was a
disaster for me, as I managed to break a wrist and both little fingers in
separate mishaps.  With each, I managed to shift my hand positions for
typing, and formed a bunch of BAD habits that I am now having considerable
difficulty overcoming.

On the upside, the finger breaks seemed to cure some pretty bad arthritis
that had begun to set in.  Now if I can manage to do as well this Summer
with both forefingers, I'll be in great shape again.   :-))
