Hello Jonathan.

It could have. About 2 months before it was released, someone figured out
ow
to have non-orthagonal walls in ROTT, but it had been delayed enough, so we
just went with what we had.

If you ever edited Wolf3D maps, ROTT used the same "sound zone" method of
sectors. The reason for this is that ROTT started life as the Wolfenstein
engine. ROTT is an example of how much something can be expanded.

Virtually all of them. This person is right.

No, it doesn't.

Descent is totally different than other 3D games.

Spiderdemon was a wuss. On the most difficult level, I could take him out
without god mode, and with only two shots from the BFG. You have to bring
t
in though. THe level as is using only what's in the level is a bit harder,
but
I don't think the final boss of the game should be taken out with only TWO
shots from the most powerful weapon in the game.

EXACTLY! That's the point. We cared more for "game" than just showing off
technology.
