CB is an unlicensed bunch of channels that are not worth the time
talking about anymore, unfortunately. I was on in the late '60s, and
things were different then.
Anyway, The new UHF CB freqs are low power and are meant for your to use
at camp sites, malls, events, etc, anywhere you might separate from your
family, but want to communicate with them. These freqs are FM modulated
and have the sound quality of an FM broadcast. Even the cheap ones sound
great.
So many people and small companies have found these small radios very
useful. It beats yelling!
