What I know, as it has been calculated in those days, is that the abundance
of mail because of the alleged thievery was such that the number of
BBS-users and points taking all that mail and files grew exponentially.
 
Every KB transported by the ex-2:291/799 was easily multiplied 40-50 times
which meant that the alleged 15,000 Euro which you mention translated into
a revenue of somewhere between 600,000 and 750,000 Euro.
