Well I decided to put in the delayed answer, ie ~~~~ATA
today so that I could test something else out (can't
quite remember), and I think that adversely affected
Binkley.  Bink must be expecting a "CONNECT" back, and
not expecting any more "RING"s in response to the ATA
command.  I could fix that in software, but it's easier
just to put it back like it was and make it answer on
the first ring.  Sorry to anyone who called in that
