Back in 1995 a bunch of the regular participants in the POLITICS echo got 
together in Springfield, IL, for a weekend.  About 2 dozen people ranging 
in age from 20 to 60, students to retired military.  And we had a fine old 
time.  It became an annual event, the last of which I attended in 1999.  
I've no idea if it's still going on.
