*** Quoting Michael Nellis from a message to Barbara Shafferman ***
MN> Yes, but some people still can't see the forest for the trees.
MN> Militant feminists without a clue still insist that men and women are
MN> equal-- which means absolutely the same, in my book.
I was invited to take part in the Federal Government forum on child custody
and access on Saturday. The Senate Committee Hearings for Southern BC are
today and tomorrow. I'm not speaking at the hearings, but a written
statement of mine is being read, and I'm spending from 7:30pm to 9pm tonight
in rpivate audience with the Minister Responsible for Child Welfare. I had
the unmitigated joy of saying right to a fadical, shrill feminist who was on
camera (I was not) "It's statements like those that led to the coining of the
phrase "Feminazi" in the first place. Simi Sarai (sp) was the interviewer on
camera at the time. She blanched - even with skin as dark as hers. I got
applause. Ha! But I was already vanishing into the crowd. I stayed behind
the camerman all day - if you're behind him he can't get you in the shot, and
none of the other crews will shoot a camerman. There likely will be one
still shot of me - I could dodge the TV crews, but not the photographers. I
was talking to the most politically incorrect people at the time (Svend
Robinson, Murray Campbell, Bill Hnadin, Mike Carpenter among them) so if that
one gets out my career as an invisble subversive is over. I got in a number
of very good shots at the pompous, including saying after the Right
Honourable Justice "That translates as "we're talking to ourselves, or in the
correct scientific terminology "talking to the walls" - that one got
applause, too, and I got to see his Right Honourablenss turning purple.

VEry fun day
MN> Obviously they've never spent a half hour wretsling on the couch for
MN> control of the T.V. remote.
I don't wrestle for it, unless I figure wrestling is foreplay. The TV is
mine, the remote is mine, I control it or the TV is off
