HDD is 540m, about 85% full. RAM is only 16m. IMO both are too
small, although it may be possible to run with them.

But really I want another machine for Linux, completely separate
so I don't upset the apps and files on this one.

And possibly a third machine for my music programs that have no
need to be linked in any way to the other stuff on the main
machine.
