Well i Have my Bud Time once in a wile .. i love my birds and spend a
lot of time take care of them ect.. WE try to do what s best for them.as
to telling them apart at a yuong age.. no there is really nothing to do
to tell.. sometime a female like the one that i have  she will
always be the 1st to start hollering for food.  just has the
caracteristics of her mother.. Seems like all the traits of a
female. But there is really no way to tell till they mature a little. I
hope that you will in time be able to get another good teil like you
had.. Teils are really sweet birds. for me they are easy to Breed. Guess
that is why i am starting out with them.. also have a pair of Quakers
but they are a little to young to breed yet.. my Blue Crowns started
going to net.. i hope to have a few eggs soon..Well gotta run i hope to
here from ya soon!!
