        Well, not necessarily.  All you really need to do is put the
positive pin of the ohm-meter on the positive lead or connector of the
speaker and same for the negative and see what the reading is.
Actually, if you have the pins reversed I dont' think it will matter
much, the resistance is still the same.  If you are talking about some
kind of 3-way enclosure, then definitely measure the resistance of the
whole circuit, not just the woofer, because the passive crossover will
add some resistance, too.
