I believe I have seen all of Klahns missives, he tends to post in spurts.

If you see his messages there, then the problem would be at docs.

Depending on the message echo there is one to two hops in between my system
and Fidotel.

Then there is docs...

I do get from time to time, that is either throughout a day or week, a
spattering of messages from him that get trapped as false duplicate
messages..

A false duplicate message is a message that is being sidelined and
classified as a dupe, when in fact they are not really dupes. I believe
this to be a flaw in the tossing software doc is using, and it seems to
happen when a user who while online writes a whole slew of messages in the
same echo in succession or uploads a QWK packet with similiar traits.

I have tried to tweak my settings here, but to no avail.

This is why you saw Bob Klahn move over to Fidotel for the bulk of his
posts (remember the argument about the email he said I never sent him)
