subject: bad archive

Dieter, you sent me an archive today that had 32 bytes of junk
before the zip header (according to info-zip), and it ended
with a whole lot of crap. What went wrong? 11 messages were
able to be processed after manual intervention. The archive
you sent me was 7712 bytes in length.

Also, there were some problems when you tried to send me the
archive (Binkley has recorded some ZCRCW errors). Do you have
the packet you sent me? If you do, can you zip it up into
a file called dieter.zip or something (ie zip the 00000008.MO0
into dieter.zip) and send it to me so that I can take a look.
Don't just send it to me as 00000008.MO0 or my system will
process it again.

Any ideas on any strange things you were doing for both of
these problems to occur?

BFN. Paul.
