Velcro hair (sticks to *everything*!). Showed up at our house a number of years ago, played hard to get. One day I mentioned to my wife that I hadn't seen him in a couple of days. Her reply: "He's under the bed." His favorite time of day is just when I get into bed and he can get up on my chest for a few minutes of undivided attetion. Molly-long hair black (well, very dark brown) female. Got her when Judy's best friend took in her daughter's cat and discovered she was allergic. Favorite pose? "Look at my butt!" Pumpkin-orange and white male. From the feral group outside. When we caught him, we thought he was too old to be domestic. The vet disabused us of that very quickly--he spent most of his time at the vet's in somebody's pocket. He is the alarm cat for all feedings. Natasha and Nell-the inseparable sisters. From the final litter of the feral cats; we found homes for their brothers (Rocky and Mr Peabody), but couldn't bear to separate them or give them up. They're fine with Judy, but I am the devil incarnate (maybe it's because I was operating the traps). Outdoor Duchess-the eldest. Did guard duty for all the outdoor kittens. Isabella-named after the "she-wolf of France". The hardest one of all to catch (and the one responsible for three full litters of kittens). We did trap/neuter/release on our little colonies, but never managed to catch her. We spiked the food with herring; she stepped over the trip plate. We got drugs from the vet; she took it, and shrugged it off. We doubled the dose; she took half! Obviously, we did finally catch her. Snoopy-white with black beagle spot (duh!). The only male outdoors and the most likely suspect for Pumpkin, Natasha and Nell. Still hangs out with the outdoor girls. Also very tough--there have been at least two instances when we thought he was going to die out there, but could never get close enough to help. He got through both just fine. Bianca-mostly white. From the same litter as Pumpkin, but we didn't catch her in time. --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: Time Warp of the Future BBS - Home of League 10 (1:14/400) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 400 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 SEEN-BY: 222/2 229/4000 236/150 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1417 SEEN-BY: 261/1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 633/104 260 262 267 690/682 734 SEEN-BY: 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/109 200 2800/18 2905/0 @PATH: 14/400 261/38 633/260 267 |
