DosTimerAsync is a 16-bit API call and it uses 16-bit semaphores only. Use
DosAsyncTimer instead that uses bare event semaphore which you can create with
DosCreateEventSem. WARP Toolkit's Control Program Reference contains an example
of how to do that under topic DosAsyncTimer.
