JP> I'm trying to record on a cassette,a distant FM station at JP> 89.3 Mhz located between 2 strong stations.I'm using JP> a radio with a collapsable whip antenna 23" high. JP> Anyone have an idea on how to add to the antenna to JP> make the signal stronger? At GOODWILL,for $3,I bought a old J.C.Penny AM/FM stereo receiver, with a turn-table, eight track player and cassette. After replacing the rubber belts on the cassette and adding a FM dipole antenna kit,I was able to pull in the 89.3 FM station with no problems. There's a little drift so I have to set it before I tape the radio show "On the media".I put in a 1/ 4 " audio plug so I can't hear it and start recording .Surprisingly,It seems to work best in only corner one room in the house. Thanks for all the tips. --- Maximus 2.02* Origin: DelaMarPenn MicroNet -+- Newark, Delaware (1:150/115) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 150/115 220 379/1 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
