Hello, and welcome to the Fidonet COOKING echo. Glad that you dropped
by to chat and share infomation. How about sharing a little bit of
personal info -- e.g. are you a cook or an eat? What sorts of foods?
Where do you live? Do you have any particular dietary restrictions?
Any of this that you care to share helps us get to know you better.
My wife and I recently moved from our home of 50 years into a retirement
community. This has caused a considerable change in our eating habits.
The community serves "restaurant style" meals, and so we've not had the
need to cook for ourselves -- although there are days when we choose to
do so in our apartment home. We have been with this COOKING echo since
1995, and were moderators for part of that time -- giving it up to
others about ten years ago or so.

Small comment -- there is something wrong with the line feeds in what
you posted. Lines are having extra line feeds inserted, often with the
lose of a character. That makes it difficult to read.
BTW -- posting a recipe with a message is by no means required, some of
us do and some do not.
Here is a simple recipe that is one of our own, and often comes out as
comfort food.
